MegaGrass

FULL MEDIA CAMPAIGN

We set out to create an immersive media campaign to reintroduce astroturf as a fresh, eco-friendly and sustainable option. Anchored by college football star Cameron Saffle (someone who's had his experience with astroturf on stadiums across America), our campaign for Megagrass aimed for a fun, humorous and accessible approach.


At Megagrass, I was tasked with updating their media campaign to resonate with the current zeitgeist while maintaining the brand's established identity. I developed a comprehensive strategy that balanced contemporary trends with Megagrass’s core branding elements, ensuring consistency in design and messaging. By tailoring content to appeal to young families and first-time homeowners, I revitalized the brand’s relevance, effectively engaging the target demographic and enhancing overall market presence. This approach not only modernized the campaign but also strengthened the brand's connection with its audience.

Catholic Campaign for Human Development

FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

The Oakland chapter of Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) asked Lumos Films to create an engaging and vibrant fundraising campaign both in English and in Spanish that not only challenges a call to action from parishioners in their own church pews, but to ignite all people of faith to help in their efforts. The focus was to highlight the three driving forces of CCHD - To empower, to organize and to advocate.

Reduced Shakespeare Company

Those funny dudes from The Reduced Shakespeare Company tapped us to promote their latest show, the long-awaited prequel to Hamlet titled "Hamlet's Big Adventure." The entire process was way too much fun and our goal with the promo is to capture their silly, tongue-in-cheek, low-key vibe.

Composer Janèt Sullivan Whitaker 

MULTIMEDIA FOR CONVENTION

I was asked to film a series of videos for liturgical Christian composer Janèt Sullivan Whitaker to present at the annual National Association of Pastoral Musicians (npm.org). I produced 2 music videos and a live video presentation on the Liturgy of the Hours (not included here). Her ballad speaks of the comfort offered by Christ and the healing from pain. The hymn published by Oregon Catholic Press (ocp.org) provides a lush backdrop to the melody, and the refrain is sure to be sung by all who hear it. Featured in this music video is renown multi-award winning cellist, Joseph Hébert (josephhebert.com).
